Chicken Caesar Salad with Seasoned Low Net Carb Croutons
We love this classic chicken caesar salad with delicious, low net carb croutons made with Hero Seeded Bread, but you can use the croutons to add a satisfying crunch to your favorite salad as well.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cut bread slices into 1” cubes. Toss cubes with olive oil on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season with chopped parsley, garlic powder and salt/pepper.
Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, tossing every now and then. When it has become golden brown and crispy, remove from the oven to cool.
Wash romaine hearts and separate leaves to prepare for the salad.
Shave or grate parmesan cheese over the lettuce. Add caesar dressing and toss together. Finish off with black pepper. Add cooked chicken and croutons on top.
